In the 80’s, I was obsessed with video games like Ms. Pac-Man, Centipede, Dig Dug. I lived for the crunchy goodness of Doritos and the suburban chic of rugby shirts and acid-washed jeans. I collected comic books by the mountain and fed my soul with music: howling rock, hyper ska, hyphenated singer-songwriters.

Today, I'm still a big fan of all things 80's. My perfect 80's mix tape includes Oingo Boingo, The Clash, Pixies, Throwing Muses, The Psychedelic Furs, 10,000 Maniacs, Camper Van Beethoven, a dose of Smiths and a whole lot of Replacements.
